Urban Design About
My name is Hua Yue, a designer and urban planner. I graduated with Distinction from UCL Bartlett in 2021 with a Master's degree in Urban Design, where I deeply explored urban spatial relationships in the field of Media Ecology. Through investigating the cognitive superimposition between digital twins of urban spaces and physical environments, I continually deconstruct and reconstruct spatial scenarios. Post-graduation, my professional practice in urban design has further deepened my understanding of urban spaces.
As a digital content creator, I steadfastly believe that "memory" demands preservation through constructing parallel spaces of remembrance. When the sensory imprints of memories in human consciousness gradually fade, I aspire to create digital specimens using illustration, 3D modeling, and point cloud scanning technologies to resurrect memory spaces and re-experience vanishing beauty. Currently, I am initiating the "Urban Digital Archives" project.
Welcome to this blended digital memory realm where virtual and physical intertwine. May my creations convey the gentlest humanism of the digital nomad era through these shared explorations.
